Stand Up Paddle Boarding, the fastest growing water sport in the world, is quickly popularizing within the fitness world as a unique core workout regimen. A sturdy core is the foundation for strength, endurance, and good health. This core h2o workout incorporates balance, strength, and coordination in a unique zen-like setting, where clinking barbells and grunting power-lifters don’t exist.

SUP Core Fitness utilizes board stability and the paddle to tone the core region. This class is not just about paddling; we incorporate a series of exercises utilizing the paddle to further isolate and strength train the core. Whether pursuing that six pack, determined to get fit for summer or cross-training for upcoming triathlon the SUP Core Fitness class is for you!
The SUP Core Fitness class will be offered at Pure Austin’s Quarry Lake location beginning in April 2010 to both members and non-members.

COSTS:
Members: $15 per class
Non-Members: $20 per class

* Previous paddle boarding experience is REQUIRED. This is a class not a lesson.
